There was a point in my life where I lived a very one dimensional life as a backpacker, slowly winding my way along the trail and taking in the beauty. Then something happened to me that forever changed me, trail running. I am Chris, a late blooming explosion of trail running madness lodged in the middle of Alaska and living off the meager life in the food and beverage industry. I have evolved into an ultra marathoner  and this is where I share my stories and adventures of running and racing. Welcome.
